1. Binocular Load Cell

The Binocular Ring Loadcell has an IP-68 protection perfectly suited for industrial applications. Based on the bending beam principle it has excellent repeatability and accuracy.

2. Double ‘S’ Load Cell

S type or S beam loadcell as it is popularly called; these loadcells find a wide range of applications in both compression and tension. These are available in Aluminium and Steel.

APPLICATIONS: Applications include hanging scales, conveyor scales, suspended hoppers, tensile testing machines etc..

3. Column Load Cell

Column Load Cell are high capacity Loadcell using foil strain gauges. These are specifically designed for outdoor applications such as hopper weighing systems, tank weighing systems and silo weighing systems.These are used in case of high capacity applications. These Load cell can be custom built for a particular application and can vary in size and performance. These load cells are available in capacity range of 40T to about 1000T

4. Shear Pin Load Cell

Customised to suit the application, these load cells are built to replace the pin that takes the load, like in pulleys & pivot points. The output is highly linear and can be used to indicate the load and also for overload protection purpose. IPA has the capability to build these customized loadcells in-house and has the capability to calibrate loads up to 1000T.

5. Rope Tension Load Cell

Rope Tension is a special loadcell used for measuring the tension on a rope. It is clamped on to the rope and is used to measure the slackness or tension of a rope on a crane. It is widely used in cranes for overload protection and rope slackening prevention.

APPLICATIONS: Crane/Hoist Over load Monitoring Systems, Rope Tension Monitoring Systems, Tower Testing Applications, Lift Over load Monitoring Systems.

6. Button Type Load Cell

These are low profile compression load cells used in applications where there is a space constraint.

Applications: Tank/Hopper/Silo Weighing Systems, Hydraulic Press Applications etc

7. Compression Load Cell

Overview: General Purpose Compression type load cells with IP-68 protection are widely used for Tank and Hopper Weighing System, Batching Plant, Silo Weighing System, Roll Force Measurement, etc

8. Tension Load Cell

Tension load cells are used only to measure tension loads, it is rugged and has a very high precision. It is suitable for very high force applications.

APPLICATIONS: Tower testing, High capacity crane scales, Various off shore and marine applications.

9. Double Shear Load Cell

Overview : The shear beam load cell can be either cylindrical or rectangular. The strain gauges are placed at the bottom of the blind holes. The strain gauges are mounted on the beam at 45 degrees to the longitudinal axis. When the load is applied to the beam, gauges along 45 degrees become longer (tension), along 135 degree become shorter (compression), thereby unbalances the bridge. The shear beam load cell is insensitive to lateral forces, and point of application of torque is not critical. Shear Beam Load cells with IP-68 protection are used mainly for Lorry Weigh Bridges.

10. Single Shear Load Cell

Similar to the bending beam, the shear beam load cells can be used in very harsh industrial environments for measurement of compressive and tensile forces.

APPLICATIONS: Tank weighing and vessel weighing, dynamic weighing typically in conveyor applications, platform scales etc.

11. Universal Load Cell

The universal shear load cell is generally used for material testing and in applications where both compression and tension loads are to be monitored.

Applications: Bag Filling, Hopper Weighing Systems, UTM & Testing applications, Electro Mechanical Weigh Bridges.
