A Ladle Weighing System is a type of industrial process control equipment used in steelmaking and other metal processing industries. It is used to measure the weight of molten metal in a ladle as it is being transferred from one location to another. The system typically consists of a load cell, which is placed under the ladle and used to measure the weight of the molten metal, and a controller that displays the weight readings and communicates with other process control equipment. The system is used to ensure that the correct amount of metal is being transferred and to prevent overloading of the ladle, which could cause safety issues or damage to the equipment. Ladle weighing systems are typically designed to operate in harsh industrial environments and are made from materials that can withstand high temperatures and corrosive environments. IPA has successfully developed the loadcell and electronics for ladle transfer cars. The highlight of these systems are that they have to operate under very high temperatures and in harsh environments. The loadcells are temperature compensated upto 120 Deg C and have inbuilt temperature sensors. The electronics also has the capability to address each individual loadcell and also measure the temperature around these loadcells. The cooling systems can also be activated as the temperature around the loadcells increases. The weighbeam loadcells are available upto 200T each. The data can be connected to the network and the MIS can have a real time data of the weighment. The weight data can be transmitted wirelessly and can be displayed on our jumbo displays starting from 50mm to 300mm height of digit. IPA India offers efficient ladle weighing system for various industrial needs.
